Some of us had some high expectations of this Camp Leah Reunion that took place September 5-7, 1997. No one could have possibly foreseen just how wonderful it would turn out. The reunion was a huge success. We spent 3 days in Camp Leah. Now grown adults, no one complained about having to sleep in bunkbeds, showering with spiders, or walking in the dark. No one was hurt, nothing was damaged, and nearly all of the planned activities took place. But more important, along with each of the 205 people who showed up, the emotions and relationships from years ago returned to that camp. The bonds, the love, the acceptance, and the respect all returned to that camp. And now, even with us back in our lives, Camp Leah lives on.
WHO WAS INVITED?The invitations were sent to all campers and staff from the 70's and 80's that the Educational Alliance has on file or that we can locate. Clearly anyone who went to Camp Leah at any time is welcome to come.
